Who we are
This website is run by Lucidarc Digital - FZCO (“Lucidarc”, “we”), a free zone company in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We decide how the personal data described here is used, and we're responsible for it. Our registered details are at the end of this page.
This policy covers lucidarcdigital.com, including the Digital Growth Audit, the growth planner, the consultation form and the client portal. When we work on a client's own systems and data, our agreement with that client governs it.
What we collect, and why
Consultation requests
Your name, email, company, and — if you give them — phone or WhatsApp number, website and message, plus how you'd like us to reply. We use them to reply and arrange the consultation, and nothing else.
The Digital Growth Audit
The website address you enter. We read that site's public pages, measure its speed with Google PageSpeed, and ask AI assistants questions about the kind of business it is. We don't log in anywhere. The report is saved and can be opened by anyone who has its link, so treat the link like the report.
The growth planner
The business details you enter — sector, what you sell, markets, deal sizes, enquiry volumes, channels, tools, team size and goals — used to generate your plan. The plan is saved and can be opened by anyone with its link. Please don't enter other people's personal data in the free-text fields.
Opening a full report
Your name, email, and optionally company and phone, and whether you agree to us contacting you about the report. We use them to open the full audit or plan and, if you agreed, to follow up about it. No newsletters.
The client portal (invited clients only)
Your name and email for signing in; the business, billing and tax details, access checklist, kick-off answers and files your team gives us; and, when you accept a proposal, the name you type, your email, the time, your IP address, your browser, and a fingerprint of the proposal text — our record of what was agreed. We use these to deliver the work, invoice it, and keep that record.
Running and protecting the site
- A one-way, salted hash of your IP address, to limit how many audits, plans and requests one visitor can run in an hour. We can't turn it back into your IP address.
- Server logs kept by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting.
- Page views and loading-speed measurements from Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights. These use no cookies and no identifiers. We don't record them on the portal or sign-in pages, and we strip query strings from addresses before they're recorded.
When you contact us directly
Emails and WhatsApp messages you send us, used to reply and to keep a record of our conversation.
Our legal basis
We use your data because you asked us to (a consultation, a report, a plan), to take steps before or under a contract with you, because you consented (for example, to follow-up about a report), or because we have a legitimate interest in running and securing the site. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
Who processes it for us
We don't sell personal data. We use these providers to run the site and our business:
- Vercel — hosting, file storage, analytics, and the gateway we use to reach AI models.
- Neon — our database.
- Clerk — sign-in for the client portal.
- Resend — sends our team an email when you request a consultation.
- Google — PageSpeed measurements, and our email.
- Anthropic, OpenAI, Google and Perplexity — AI models that write audit findings and plans, and answer the audit's visibility questions. They receive the website content and business details involved, not your name or email.
- Meta — WhatsApp, if you message us there.
We may also disclose data when the law requires it, or to protect our rights.
Where it's stored
Our servers and database are in the United States, and some providers above process data in other countries. When your data leaves the UAE or your own country, we rely on our providers' contractual safeguards for international transfers.
Cookies and local storage
- la_unlock — remembers that you've opened full reports, for up to 180 days. Signed so it can't be forged.
- la_staff — used only by our own team in client meetings.
- Clerk session cookies — keep you signed in to the client portal. Only set on portal and sign-in pages.
- la-seen (local storage) — skips the home page's opening animation after your first visit.
We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and leads: while we're in touch and for a reasonable period afterwards. Audit and plan reports: until they're no longer useful. Client records, including proposal acceptances and invoices: as long as the law and our agreement require. You can ask us to delete your data sooner, and we will unless we have to keep it.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, get a copy to take elsewhere, and withdraw consent. Email hello@lucidarcdigital.com; we'll reply within one month. If you're not satisfied, you can complain to the UAE Data Office or to the data protection authority where you live.
Security
Everything is served over HTTPS. Client files are stored privately and only reachable by signed-in members of that client and our team. Access to our systems is limited to the people who need it.
Children
This site is for businesses. It isn't meant for anyone under 18.
Changes
When we change how we use data, we'll update this page and the date at the top. See also our terms of use.
