SEO and AI search visibility for businesses in Dubai and the UAE. Write for the question, not the keyword.

Lucidarc Digital is an SEO agency in Dubai that makes UAE businesses easier to find in Google and in AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini. We fix the technical basics, write answers to the questions buyers ask before they enquire, and tie them to landing pages and measurement, so you can see which searches produce enquiries.

Ask the assistants what they say about you.

Perplexity, ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude each get three questions a buyer would ask without your name, and one that names you. The audit records whether you're named and who is recommended instead. The leak it fixes

Where do businesses go missing in search and AI answers?

Before anyone calls: buyers ask Google and AI assistants first, and the answer goes to whichever site answers plainly.

Here's how that looks in each sector.

Clinics & healthcareLeak

Patients ask before they book.

What it looks like

They ask which treatment suits them, what it involves and which clinic nearby does it. If your treatment pages don't answer, the answer comes from a clinic whose pages do.

Professional servicesLeak

The shortlist is drawn before anyone calls.

What it looks like

A founder asks which free zone suits a two-shareholder trading company. If your site doesn't answer that question plainly, you aren't in the answer.

B2B & industrialLeak

Engineers search by specification.

What it looks like

They type the test, the size or the standard, not your company name. Capability pages locked in a PDF don't come up.

Explained · 3 questions, each answered in its first sentence

What is GEO, and how is it different from SEO?

GEO (generative engine optimisation) is the work of being cited in answers AI assistants write; SEO is being found in search results; AEO (answer engine optimisation) sits between them, writing pages that answer a question directly.

Compare · SEO, AEO and GEO, from Google's and Microsoft's own guidance

How do AI assistants decide which businesses to mention?

They search first, then write: each assistant pulls pages from a search index and builds its answer from the passages it finds.

The longer answer

Google's AI features use Google's own index; Evidence · published Google's AI features search before they answer. Google's guide describes its generative AI features as retrieval-augmented generation over its Search index, using query fan-out: a set of related queries the model runs at once to gather more information. What won't we do for search and AI visibility?

Anything that trades a short-term bump for a policy breach: guaranteed rankings or AI mentions, self-ranking "best agency" lists, bought or fake reviews and mentions, or a page for every keyword variant.

The longer answer

Google names the last as scaled content abuse. Evidence · published A page for every query variation breaks Google's policy. Google's guide says making separate content for query variations mainly to manipulate rankings or generative AI responses violates its scaled content abuse spam policy. It adds that seeking inauthentic mentions across the web isn't as helpful as it might seem. Google Search Central · checked 2 Oct 2026 Open the evidence →

Google says you don't need new machine-readable files, AI text files or special markup to appear in its AI features, because Google Search doesn't use them. Fit

Who is search and AI visibility for, and who isn't it for?

It's for businesses whose buyers research before they call, and who can give us the facts to answer them; it isn't for anyone who needs enquiries this month or wants a guaranteed ranking.

A good fit if

  • Buyers research before they call, and the questions they ask are specific.
  • You can give us the facts to answer them: what you'll publish about prices, process and specifications.
  • You can give it time. Search moves slower than paid campaigns.

Not a fit if

  • You need enquiries this month. Paid campaigns are faster; search is slower.
  • You want guaranteed rankings, or a guaranteed mention in ChatGPT. Nobody can honestly promise either.
  • You'd like content published that you haven't read. We don't publish anything you haven't approved.

Who we do this for

Which businesses do we work with on search and AI visibility?

Businesses across the UAE in three sectors: premium clinics, professional services, and B2B and industrial suppliers.

Each sector page, and each business-type page under it, shows how the work changes for that kind of business.

Questions

Questions about search and AI visibility, answered first.

The questions UAE businesses ask about search and AI visibility, each answered in its first sentence.

What is GEO?

Generative engine optimisation: making a business easy for AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Copilot to find, trust and cite. Google treats it as part of SEO, and so do we: one job, written answer-first.

Is AEO different from SEO?

Not in Google's view. AEO is SEO written answer-first: a question as the heading and the answer in the first sentence, so a search feature or an assistant can quote it.

Do I need llms.txt?

Not for Google, which says it doesn't use AI text files. Some other systems may read one, so we add it where it helps, but it isn't a lever and we don't sell it as one.

Can you guarantee ChatGPT will recommend us?

No, and nobody honestly can. We can make your site the clearest answer to the questions your buyers ask, make sure AI crawlers can read it, and check what the assistants say before and after.

How long until AI assistants mention us?

There's no honest timetable. Technical fixes change how Google reads a site quickly; being named in answers depends on the index, on what others publish about you, and on the question asked. We report what moved and what hasn't.

How do you measure AI visibility?

With Search Console, analytics and enquiries by source, plus the free audit's check: several AI assistants are asked three questions a buyer would ask without your name, and one that names you. Answers vary by day and wording, so treat it as a sample, not a verdict.

Do you need access to our Google Business Profile?

Yes, as a manager, so the profile stays yours. In the 90-day system it's set up in month 1: categories, services, posts, reviews and the schema that ties it to your site. If you don't have one, we check eligibility first; Google doesn't allow profiles for virtual offices.

How much does SEO cost in Dubai?

As Lead Engine, AED 8k–15k (≈ USD 2.2k–4k) setup, then USD 1.4k–3.3k / mo. Inside the 90-day system, search work runs in months 1 and 2, covered by the fixed fee of AED 15,000–30,000. After day 90, the Growth retainer is AED 5k–7.5k / mo (≈ USD 1.4k–2k).

Do you write the content?

Yes, from your facts. You approve every page before it's published, and nothing claims what you can't stand behind.
