Clinics & healthcare

Marketing and lead generation for dental clinics in Dubai and the UAE. The implant quote went out on Monday. Nobody has followed it up.

Dental clinic marketing in the UAE is the work of helping patients find a clinic in search, maps and AI assistants, turning those visits into consultation requests and following each one up on WhatsApp and by phone, within DHA, DoH or MOHAP advertising rules. Lucidarc Digital builds it for dental clinics as a fixed-fee 90-day system: AED 15,000–30,000. Evidence · published The 90-day system: fixed fee. AED 15,000–30,000 (≈ USD 4,000–8,000), fixed for the first 90 days and covering everything we set up. The audit sets the exact number within the range. Dental clinics in the UAE, in sourced facts.

Each fact names its source, the date we read it and how solid it is. A figure we couldn't source isn't here.

  1. Fact 01Published

Dentistry was the most-demanded specialty among Dubai's international health tourists in 2023, at 29% of demand. Dubai received more than 691,000 health tourists that year, who spent more than AED 1.03 billion on healthcare. 03 · How they choose

How patients choose and enquire.

What happens before anyone contacts you. Open a step for the detail.

  1. 01

They compare prices before they compare clinics

Veneers, implants, whitening and cleaning are researched by price first, and offers are everywhere: packages, struck-through prices, booking-site discount codes. A clinic that publishes no price, or a price without its conditions, is hard to compare and easy to skip.

  2. 02

Then they read the reviews, and count them

Near the top of the directories, star ratings barely differ. Patients look at how many reviews a clinic has, how recent they are and whether the clinic replies.

  3. 03

They ask whether their plan covers it

Since Dubai's basic plan added a limited dental benefit, patients ask “is this covered on my plan?” before they book, while some online guides still say dental is excluded. A clear answer, by insurer and plan, is part of the decision.

  4. 04

They message, often in the evening

The first question usually arrives on WhatsApp or Instagram, often after the front desk has gone home, sometimes from a visitor planning a trip. Booking platforms and directories send enquiries too, each into a different inbox.

  5. 05

Aligner patients arrive with a brand in mind

Many come from an aligner brand's provider locator or a free-scan offer, asking whether you're a provider, what it costs and whether they can pay monthly. Then the family decides, which can take weeks.

04 · The leak

Where dental enquiries get lost.

Most happen after the enquiry arrives. The free audit shows which apply to you.

  1. Leak 01

The veneers question that waits until morning

A price question about veneers or a smile makeover arrives on WhatsApp at night and is answered after the front desk opens. By then the patient may have asked elsewhere.

  2. Leak 02

    Insurance questions nobody owns

“Do you take my insurer?” and “is cleaning covered?” sit in the inbox because nobody is sure who should answer, so the patient books where someone did.

  3. Leak 03

Booking-platform leads that never reach your records

Enquiries from booking platforms and directories are handled where they land and never logged, so nobody can say which channel fills the chair.

  4. Leak 04

    Treatment plans that go quiet

An implant or veneers plan is sent after the consultation and nobody checks in. The patient's questions about cost, stages or payment go unanswered, and the plan stays on the desk.

  5. Leak 05

No recall after the hygiene visit

The next cleaning isn't discussed at checkout and no reminder is agreed, so a patient who came in through the basic plan's dental benefit doesn't come back.

  6. Leak 06

    Clinical answers in the DMs

Instagram and WhatsApp messages are answered by whoever has the phone, outside any record, sometimes with clinical advice. DHA asks clinics to avoid social-media discussions where patients may disclose health information.

06 · Your 90 days

Your 90 days, built for dental clinics.

The same three months as every 90-day system, shaped for dental clinics. You own every account from the first day. Evidence · published You own every account. We work inside your analytics, ads, CRM and WhatsApp accounts as invited users. You stay the owner of every one, from the first day. Programme terms · checked 1 Oct 2026 Open the evidence →

  1. Month 1

Foundation: pages, approvals and one record

What we build · 5 steps
    • Treatment pages for implants, veneers, whitening, hygiene, aligners and emergencies: what's included, “from” prices with their conditions where you choose to publish them, and each dentist's title exactly as licensed.
    • An approval step: every page, post, ad and WhatsApp template waits for your clinic's approval before it goes live, and the approved version is archived with its edits.
    • Your MOHAP advertising licence number on the website and every official social account.
    • One CRM for website forms, calls, WhatsApp, Instagram, Google Business and booking-platform leads, each tagged with its source. It holds administrative details only, hosted where your counsel confirms it may be.
    • A Google Business Profile for each branch, and tracking that counts booked consultations, not form fills.
  2. Month 2

Acquisition: search, ads and the assistant

What we build · 4 steps
    • Search campaigns by treatment and branch, measured against cost per booked consultation. Ad copy goes through the same approval step.
    • Answer-first content for the questions patients ask search engines and AI assistants: what a treatment involves, what the basic plan covers, how payment plans work. Your dentists approve it before it's published.
    • A WhatsApp assistant for administrative questions only: hours, branches, directions, insurers accepted and what to bring. Every price, coverage and clinical question, and every booking, goes to a named coordinator with the conversation attached.
    • Review requests to every patient after a visit, not only the happy ones, with nothing offered in return.
  3. Month 3

    Automation: follow-up that asks first

What we build · 5 steps
    • Treatment-plan follow-up that asks whether the patient has questions or would like to book. It never proposes an appointment time the patient hasn't asked for.
    • Hygiene recall by opt-in: patients agree to a reminder at checkout, and times are offered only when they reply asking to book.
    • Reminders for stages already booked in multi-visit treatment, such as implants and aligners.
    • Enquiries straight to your team, an opt-out on every follow-up message, and each enquiry's language noted so it reaches someone on your team who speaks it.
    • A dashboard from enquiry to consultation to accepted treatment plan, by source.

What we'd measure

  • Booked consultations, by source and treatment
  • Time to first reply, in office hours and after hours (measured, never promised)
  • Time from enquiry to a named person taking over
  • Enquiry-to-consultation rate and consultation show rate
  • Cost per booked consultation, by campaign
  • Treatment-plan acceptance rate
  • Recall rebookings and new reviews, per month

Measured in your own accounts from the first month. Any target is a planning range, never a promise.

07 · Choosing an agency

How to choose an agency for dental clinics.

Questions to ask whoever you hire, including us.

  1. 01

Ask how a post gets approved

Your medical director signs off everything that names the clinic. A capable agency shows you the approval step: who sends what, who approves it, and where the approved version is archived with its edits.
  2. 02

Read their clinic copy for banned words

Look at pages and ads they've written for clinics. “Best”, “painless”, “guaranteed”, “100%” or a price without its conditions suggest they haven't read the standard your clinic is accountable to.
  3. 03

Ask what they count as a result

Clicks and form fills are easy to report. Ask how a WhatsApp chat, a phone call and a booking-platform lead each become a booked consultation in their report, and who checks the numbers.
  4. 04

Ask what the WhatsApp assistant will and won't say

It should handle administrative questions and hand every clinical, price and coverage question to a named person on your team. Ask what it stores, where that is hosted, and whether it ever proposes appointment times on its own.
  5. 05

Make sure the accounts are yours

Ad accounts, Google Business Profiles, the WhatsApp number, analytics and the CRM should be in the clinic's name, with the agency invited as a user.
  6. 06

Get the price in writing, with ad spend apart

Agency fees, ad spend and software should be separate lines. If ad spend is bundled into the fee, you can't see how much of it reached Google or Meta.
  7. 07

Ask what they can show in dentistry

Ask for dental-clinic work you can check, with the clinic's permission, and a reference you can call. An agency without that work should say so. We do: no dental-clinic project is published here yet.

08 · The rules

The rules that shape dental marketing in the UAE.

Each regulator's own document, in plain words, linked and dated. We build every page, ad and message to fit them.

ChecklistDHA advertising rules for clinics: the dated checklist, with every source

  1. Rule 01Dubai Health Authority (DHA)

DHA's social-media standard applies, and was re-circulated in August 2026

DHA's Standards for Medical Advertisement Content on Social Media (DHA/HRS/HPSD/ST-21, version 1.1) apply to every DHA-licensed facility and professional, and define social media to include WhatsApp, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat and LinkedIn. DHA re-circulated the standard to private facilities in circular CIR-2026-00000144 on 17 August 2026, noting that non-compliance may lead to disciplinary action. The clinic's official account must state its MOHAP medical-advertisement licence number, and content that names or locates the clinic, whether posted by staff, a professional or an influencer, needs the medical director's approval.

  2. Rule 02Dubai Health Authority (DHA)

No absolute claims, and no price without its conditions

ST-21 section 6.11 bans absolute and exaggerated wording, including “unique”, “the best”, “safest”, “the only”, “miraculous”, “assured success”, “has no side effects”, “get money back”, “100%” and “immediate results”. Appendix 1 lists as not acceptable price information that is inaccurate or fails to specify its conditions, time-limited discounts or inducements that cannot be met, and recovery-time claims that create unrealistic expectations. Appendix 2 prohibits trial use of medical products or services. Fees, insurance arrangements and instalment plans may be stated.

    As read
  3. Rule 03Dubai Health Authority (DHA)

Patient photos, stories and before-and-afters need written consent

Anyone shown in social-media advertising must have given documented written consent, limited to the subject and the period it was given for (ST-21 6.10, 9.1). Patient testimonials without written consent, and patient-identifiable details, are prohibited (Appendix 2). Before-and-after images must show the same person, taken with the same lens, with no editing, and carry the statement “there is no guarantee that the result will be the same, as it might vary from one individual to another” together with the risks, in the same font size as the rest of the post (9.6).

    As read
  4. Rule 04Dubai Health Authority (DHA)

Follow-up must not offer a time the patient didn't ask for

ST-21 Appendix 1 lists as not acceptable to “provide a patient or client with an unsolicited appointment time that has not been requested by the patient or client”. Section 7.1.7 asks facilities to avoid social-media discussions with patients who may disclose their health information. The same appendix lists office hours and the availability of after-hours services as acceptable to state.

    As read
  5. Rule 05Dubai Healthcare City Authority – Regulatory (DHCR)

Clinics in Dubai Healthcare City need approval before each advertisement

DHCR's Advertisement Policy requires DHCC-licensed operators to obtain DHCR approval for all medical advertisements, applying at least 14 working days before the advertising date, and then MOHAP approval for advertisements shown outside the facility. Approvals are valid for six months, and any change to text, photo or video needs a new request. Websites and social media count as advertising, including WhatsApp voice notes. Fixed prices or a stated price range are allowed if the advertisement says whether additional charges may apply.

    As read
  6. Rule 06UAE federal law

Health data stays in the UAE

Federal Law No. 2 of 2019 on the use of information and communication technology in health fields (Article 13) provides that health data relating to health services provided in the UAE may not be stored, processed, generated or transferred outside the country, except in cases set by ministerial decision. Ministerial Decision No. 51 of 2021 sets those cases.

11 · Questions

Questions dental clinics ask us.

What does a dental marketing agency in Dubai do?

It helps patients find your clinic in search, maps and AI assistants, turns those visits into consultation requests, and makes sure every request is followed up. Lucidarc Digital builds that as one system in 90 days: treatment pages, Google Business Profiles, search campaigns, a WhatsApp assistant for administrative questions, follow-up and a dashboard, all inside your medical director's approval step.

How much does dental clinic marketing cost with Lucidarc Digital?

The 90-day system is a fixed fee of AED 15,000–30,000 (≈ USD 4,000–8,000), the same as in every sector; the free audit sets where you land in the range. After day 90, an optional retainer starts from AED 5,000 a month (≈ USD 1,400). Ad spend is separate, paid by you directly to Google or Meta.

Do dental ads in Dubai need approval?

Yes. Under DHA's social-media standard (ST-21), a DHA-licensed clinic's official accounts must state its MOHAP medical-advertisement licence number, and anything that names or locates the clinic needs the medical director's approval. Clinics in Dubai Healthcare City need DHCR approval, then MOHAP approval, before each advertisement. This is general context, not legal advice.

Can we use before-and-after photos and patient reviews?

Only with documented written consent from the patient, for that purpose and period. Under DHA's standard, before-and-after images must show the same person with the same lens and no editing, and carry the statement that results vary from person to person, with the risks. Collecting that consent is your clinic's step, and your clinic approves everything before it's published.

Can a WhatsApp assistant answer patients after hours?

Yes, for administrative questions: hours, branches, directions, insurers you accept and what to bring. Anything clinical, any price or coverage question and every booking goes to a named person on your team. It doesn't give clinical advice, and it doesn't propose appointment times the patient hasn't asked for.

Will our clinic appear in ChatGPT or Google's AI answers?

Nobody can guarantee it, and we don't. We make your treatment pages answer the questions patients ask, keep your clinic's details consistent across your site and profiles, and check each month which clinics the assistants name for your treatments, using the same check as the free audit.

Do you work with dental clinics in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah?

Yes. The approval route depends on who licenses the clinic: Abu Dhabi's Department of Health runs its own process for health advertisements and requires facilities to complete its health-media training, and clinics in Sharjah and the northern emirates advertise under a MOHAP licence. We confirm the route from your licence in the first week and build the approval step around it.

Do you need access to our patient records?

No. The enquiry system holds administrative details only: name, contact, treatment interest, preferred day and branch. Where your practice-management software can connect, bookings pass to it; where it can't, the handover goes to your front desk. Where the data is held is agreed with you and checked against the UAE's health-data rules before anything goes live.

Can a dental clinic advertise teeth whitening or Botox in Dubai?

Whitening, yes, as a dental service: DHA's Standards for Non-Surgical Cosmetic Procedures (ST-05, 2025) list teeth whitening under the dental specialities. Botulinum toxin and fillers only where an eligible orthodontic, prosthodontic or maxillofacial specialist with recognised training gives them, so the page names who does. Your clinic approves the wording before anything is published.

Have you worked with dental clinics before?

Not yet, and we won't imply otherwise: no dental-clinic project is published on this site. Our closest real work is MS-Dentaldepot, a store for dental labs and practices in Germany: dental supply, not a clinic. What we can show you is the workflow, playable on this page, and the free audit run on your own site.
